In Memoriam (Alexander Litvinenko)
Litvinenko was a former KGB agent who had defected to the West. He died of Polonium poisoning, soon after beggining investigating and exposing FSB's criminal activity.
While independent investigators say he was poisoned and murdered by the hand of Russia's secret agency, FSB proclaims Litvinenko died as he mishandled Polonium he had acquired illegally. According to the same agency, his intention was to provide Chechnya's separatists with the ability to produce and use a "dirty bomb".
