A cat stuck in a tree is a familiar backyard tale, but not when that cat is a mountain lion. Homeowners in Grand Junction, Colorado, called in wildlife officials on March 11 when the big cat seen in this video was found hanging out.Katy Basinger recorded the footage.She told Storyful, “The mountain lion was found atop a tree. Colorado Parks And Wildlife (CPW) was called to rescue and relocate the lion. The lion was tranquilized but then was stuck atop the tree. The CPW officer climbed the tree in order to help the lion … to land in the safety tarp below to prevent injury.
