Assad forces and allies launch assault on rebel-held Douma

Genocidal bombardment on the residential neighbourhoods of Douma city (100+ airstrikes, 40 cannon shells, 700 missiles, 50+ barrel bombs). At least 40 civilians were killed, mostly women and children, and over 250 injured. Many people are still under the collapsed buildings, rescue workers can't get them out because of the heavy regime shelling.
