Hitler's private village: Obersalzberg
April 20th: On the occasion of Adolf Hitler's birthday we take a look at the one place that Adolf Hitler loved the most in his lifetime: His picturesque estate in the small village Obersalzberg, a part of Berchtesgaden in Bavaria, very close the German-Austrian border, where you have a view over parts of German as well as over Austria.
This small village was also secondary residence to many of Hitler's most important officers who occupied the houses around the "Berghof", Hitler's own domicile.
