On March 11, 2003, 22 year old John Allen Rubio and his common law wife, 23 year old Angela Camacho fatally stabbed their 3 children and then beheaded them inside their apartment on 805 East Tyler Street in Brownsville, Texas. On March 11, 2003, John reportedly was suffering from frightening delusions. He claimed that the family's hamsters were demonically growling at him. He then began to scream that the three young children were also growling at him, and that demons were speaking through them. Angela became convinced that John was telling the truth when he said that the children were possessed John said that they had no choice but to kill the children. The 3 year old little girl, 1 year old baby boy, and 2 month old infant girl were systematically stabbed to death and decapitated by Rubio. Angela testified that she cried as she washed the knives John used to stab and decapitate the children. The couple placed the children's decapitated, naked bodies into garbage bags. John Allen Rubio stated that Julissa, the 3 year old, was stronger than he expected. He ordered Angela to hold the little girl's legs still while he stabbed her. After killing the children, John and Angela had sex. John said that it would be the last time they would be able to. John's brother, Jose, and his girlfriend arrived at the apartment shortly after the murders and discovered the gruesome scene. The couple flagged down a nearby patrol car and tried desperately to explain to the police officer what had happened. Camacho and Rubio were immediately taken into custody. Camacho described how she was simply following Rubio's lead the night of the murders. She claimed she was frightened of Rubio. She also said that Rubio threatened to her and then kill himself if she would not have sex with him following the deaths of the children. Angela Camacho pleaded guilty to first degree murder. She was sentenced to three life sentences. John Allen Rubio pleaded not guilty. He was convicted and sentenced to death by lethal injection. Too bad we can't torture him to death, lethal injection is too easy for that piece of shit
