The Hawaii Volcano Observatory said on May 3 that a 492-foot fissure erupted with lava near the Leilani Estates, in Puna, Hawaii. The lava flowed for several yards before stopping, the observatory said.The dramatic sight was captured in this drone video.The activity came after a 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck the south flank of Kilauea Volcano at 10.30 am local time on May 3, the Star Advertiser said.
