On saturday 10th, a gas tank belonging to a street food vendor exploded in Oruro, Bolivia. The city was hosting it's world-renowned Carnival Parade which is held every year bringing thousands of tourists who are marveled by the Bolivian dances and culture. Unfortunately this year tragedy stroke the parade when a gas tank exploded in the middle of a busy street, instantly killing 6 people, 4 of them minors that went from 2 to 16 years old, and injuring near 50 by-standers. 2 more people died the following days. A man was spotted out for a bike ride in Miami, Florida last Tuesday with two very unusual passengers - ring-tailed lemurs. The Madagascan primates were sat in the basket on the front of Lamarr Simmons' bicycle. One wore a pair of denim shorts and the other a nappy (diaper). Understandably, Simmons and his lemurs were getting quite a lot of attention from the public on Ocean Drive, South Beach. Ring-tailed lemurs are classified as "Endangered" by the by the IUCN Red List.
