I for one really like the new site design. Congratulations! I'm sure it'll only get better as time goes on. It does however still have one important component which hasn't made it into this millennium yet: The Logo. Hopefully the site designers will also be updating this remnant of digital yesteryear.

I don't like the Oscars much except for best documentary category. Icarus won it this year and while it was also very good, "Abacus: Small Enough to Jail" was my pick. Abacus is the story about how one small Chinese bank in Chinatown was the only bank that was charged in 2008 mortgage clusterfuck we all remember. Check it out if you like documentaries. Icarus isn't bad either and also worth seeing but I wish Abacus had won. It was extraordinary and everyone should see it. Definitely worth the watch.
