This is the terrifying moment that two professional big wave surfers - one of them on a jet ski - were battered by enormous waves in Portugal. In the extraordinary drone footage, big wave surfer Alex Botelho paddles into a huge wave in Nazar'e, but falls off his board in a nasty wipeout, losing his board in the process. Happened March 9, 2018. A motorcycle driver passes a girl on a scooter while going rather fast and ends up clipping her and then crashing and hitting a pole. He has died as a result of his injuries. The girl suffered only minor injuries and is fine. At least the person who caused it got the bad end of it, I hate seeing it the other way around. Captured on a CCTV camera.

Los Angeles prosecutors said on Thursday (March 8) they would not charge a former police officer in the 2015 shooting death of an unarmed man, despite a call by the city's police chief to do so. The former officer, Clifford Proctor, may have believed the 29-year-old man he shot was reaching for his partner's weapon during a struggle outside a bar, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office said in a outlining the decision.

Police have rescued a seven-year-old boy trapped in a dangerous bog in eastern China. The video, filmed in Hangzhou City in Zhejiang Province on February 27, shows a policeman throwing a life buoy tied to a rope to the boy and trying to drag him out, but this first attempt fails. A policeman tied to a rope then walks over on wooden planks to approach the boy, digging away the mud around him with his bare hands before pulling him out with the help of other villagers.
