Two very brave old men from Indonesia managed recently to fight off a gang of four thieves with nothing more than a broom. Dramatic CCTV footage, which was captured in Medan, North Sumatra on April 2, shows an old man sweeping outside his home when the gang of four men surround him on motorbikes. The gang begins to rough him up but he refuses to submit and fights back with the broom. He calls for help from a friend who now comes to his rescue and they manage to drive the robbers away. A suicide blast in the Afghan capital Kabul has left at least 31 people dead and 54 injured, according to a health ministry spokesman. Sunday's attack at a voter registration centre was carried out by a bomber wearing an explosive vest. The victims had been queuing up to receive identity cards, officials said.
