Cornwall's swimming horses are preparing ahead of what is predicted to be the hottest early May bank holiday on record. Video filmed on Friday (May 4) from Long rock beach near Marazion shows the water-treading horses training ahead of the start of their season on Monday. Temperatures are expected to hit 28 degrees Celcius over the weekend, matching the current record of 28.6 in 1995.

Kilauea Volcano on Hawaii's Big Island erupted on Thursday (May 3) and residents have been told to evacuate. Video shows the view from the Kilauea Observation Area at the Hawai'i Volcanos National Park. Writes the filmer: "(At) around 5pm, the lava appeared 30 miles south of this point in the Leilani Estates area of Big Island. A wall in the crater collapses and shoots out this flume of smoke and ash from the volcano's crater."
A bride in China tossed a bouquet into the ceiling, causing parts of it to collapse on top of her wedding guests. The clip, filmed in Ma'anshan City in Anhui Province in eastern China on April 23, shows ceiling tiles falling down after the bride made her overenthusiastic throw. Guests can be heard screaming in the video. Fortunately, no one was injured.
