In Moscow, a former intelligence officer arrested in a state secret case
In Moscow, a former security officer Nikolai Kolabukhov was arrested, who was suspected of illegally obtaining information constituting a state secret. This was reported by TASS with reference to a law enforcement source.
A criminal case was opened against the ex-intelligence officer under subparagraph “e” of part 2 of article 283.1 (“Illegal receipt of information constituting a state secret, associated with the movement of carriers of such information outside the Russian Federation”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The details of the case were not disclosed.
Kolabukhov will remain in the isolation ward until February 28.
Earlier it was reported that a new case was opened against the Russian general who was arrested for illegally obtaining information constituting a state secret. Major General of the Internal Service Muslim Dakhkhaev was suspected of abuse of office. According to the investigation, from 2014 to 2017, he, heading the Dagestan department of the FSIN, ordered to send six convicts from the colony-settlement for repair work to his house and his mother’s house.
