Details of the attack of a man on police officers in Moscow are revealed

The man who attacked the police in a Moscow apartment had previously wounded himself with a knife. Such details of the incident were disclosed to TASS in the press service of the Moscow State Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

As specified in the department, the message about the attack of a man with a knife on ambulance workers was received at 18.40. He continued to behave aggressively towards the arriving policemen and tried to attack them with a knife, with which he had previously wounded his own head.

According to a law enforcement agency source, the attacker suffered from alcohol addiction and mental illness.

Earlier on January 12, it was reported that a man in an inadequate state attacked with a knife the police officers who arrived at the call of the ambulance doctors in a Moscow apartment in a residential building on Guryevsky proezd. He behaved aggressively towards doctors and neighbors and did not respond to warnings, threatening to kill. After that, he attacked the police officers. They used a service weapon. The attacker died on the spot from his injury.
