In Pushkin square were tested new type of lamps
Twenty led lights powered by solar energy installed in the park of Pushkin, reports Gazeta.uz.
Similar lights will soon appear in other parts of Tashkent: in parks and recreation areas.
New technology is clean and efficient from the point of view of electricity saving. Solar panels store energy for lighting in the dark. The design of the lamp provided with a light sensor that autonomously switches the light. Thus, each lamp is a completely autonomous system that operates without outside interference.
The initiators of the innovation became the State Committee for nature protection and the OSCE project Coordinator in Uzbekistan.
According to the information service of State Committee for nature protection, in the first half of the year center "Eco-Energy" of Committee installed 197 solar photovoltaic power plants for the needs of oil, gas and chemical industries enterprises, school and medical institutions, orphanages and nursing homes, farms of the country. Over 400 such stations must be installed before the year-end.
