Fani-Kayode reacts to alleged attack on Governor Wike, tells President Buhari to call his mad dog to order

Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to call his minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi to order following a reported clash the latter had with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state.

Fani-Kayode reacting to reports on Saturday, November 11, that the security personnel attached to the minister attacked the governors convoy, warned that such a conduct would only lead to bloodshed, reprisals and a vicious cycle of violence, death and destruction if left unchecked.
He therefore called on the president to stop such further actions before they escalate.

"I urge President Muhammadu Buhari to call his mad dog to order before it is too late,” Fani-Kayode said.

NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state, on Saturday, November 11, clashed with alleged officials of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and soldiers reportedly in the motorcade of Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, the transport minister.
Simeon Nwakaudu, the governor’s spokesperson, in a statement obtained by NAIJ.com, claimed the Wike, who was on project inspection, was attacked at Nwanja Junction on Trans-Amadi Road.
