Restaurant review: Two bike-shop eateries
I've come to view cyclists as a motivated bunch whose keenly focused eyes spy local opportunities to collaborate on community rides, Kickstarter campaigns or any excuse for a post-ride brew. This summer, despite my lack of Lycra or clip-in shoes (my ride is a canary-yellow cruiser with a Toto-style basket), I befriended two bike-shop eateries. Befriended seems fitting for the attitude of like-minded patrons and the owners' earnest commitment to supporting local. Taken alone, either one would push the boundary for a review, even the casual Order Ups that grace this page, but together they capture the tip of the locavore iceberg. Stop in, and you'll leave smiling.
