Reggie McKenzie out as Raiders GM
The Raiders have parted ways with general manager Reggie McKenzie.
The team confirmed the move, first reported by NFL Network, in a brief statement Monday afternoon.
“We are grateful for everything Reggie has done for this organization as a player, executive and member of the Raider family,” the statement read. “We wish the best for Reggie, June and the entire McKenzie family.
“The Raiders will immediately begin a search for a new front office executive and will have no further comment until that process is complete.”
The move comes with three games left in the Raiders’ seventh season with McKenzie as their GM. NFL Network reported McKenzie was given the choice of finishing out the season as GM but declined.
