Windsor SC crowned Thames Valley Junior League Champions 2017

Windsor Swimming club has retained its position as top club in the region when it was crowned 'League Champions' after winning the final meet of the Thames Valley Junior League 2017. This latest victory marks the third consecutive year that Windsor Swimming Club has taken the league title, having won in 2015 and 2016.

Development and Performance of a Suprathermal Electron Spectrometer to Study Auroral Precipitations

Abstract: The design, development, and performance of Medium-energy Electron SPectrometer (MESP), dedicated to the in situ observation of suprathermal electrons in the auroral ionosphere, are summarized in this paper. Banded Structures in Electron Pitch Angle Diffusion Coefficients from Resonant Wave-Particle Interactions

Abstract: Electron pitch angle (D(sub (alpha alpha))) and momentum (D(sub pp)) diffusion coefficients have been calculated due to resonant interactions with electrostatic electron cyclotron harmonic (ECH) and whistler mode chorus waves. Calculations have been performed at two spatial locations L=4.6 and 6.8 for electron energies less than or equal to 10 keV. MMS Observations of Electron-Scale Filamentary Currents in the Reconnection Exhaust and Near the X Line

Abstract: We report Magnetospheric Multiscale observations of macroscopic and electron-scale current layers in asymmetric reconnection. Abstract: We report observations from the Magnetospheric Multiscale satellites of parallel electric fields (E (sub parallel)) associated with magnetic reconnection in the subsolar region of the Earth's magnetopause. Magnetospheric Multiscale Satellite Observations of Parallel Electron Acceleration in Magnetic Field Reconnection by Fermi Reflection from Time Domain Structures

Abstract: The same time domain structures (TDS) have been observed on two Magnetospheric Multiscale Satellites near Earth's dayside magnetopause. These TDS, traveling away from the X line along the magnetic field at 4000 km/s, accelerated field-aligned approx. 5 eV electrons to approx. 200 eV by a single Fermi reflection of the electrons by these overtaking barriers. Survey of Galileo Plasma Observations in Jupiter's Plasma Sheet

Abstract: The plasma science (PLS) Instrument on the Galileo spacecraft (orbiting Jupiter from December 1995 to September 2003) measured properties of the ions that were trapped in the magnetic field. Simulation of a Rapid Dropout Event for Highly Relativistic Electrons with the RBE Model

Abstract: A flux dropout is a sudden and sizable decrease in the energetic electron population of the outer radiation belt on the time scale of a few hours.
