PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — English musician Sting sang "My One and Only Love" at Brown University after he and his wife Trudie Styler accepted honorary degrees. Brown presented them with the degrees Sunday at its 250th commencement. Nobel Prize-winning physicist J. Michael Kosterlitz was among the other honorees. Sting in 1977 formed the pioneering British rock band The Police with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers. Former President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized in Maine after experiencing "low blood pressure and fatigue," his spokesman announced Sunday. In a tweet, Jim McGrath said "He will likely remain there for a few days for observation. The former president is awake and alert, and not in any discomfort​." Bush, 93, had been vacationing in Maine. Bush was hospitalized for about a week last month, following the death of his wife of 73 years, Barbara.

The UFC Liverpool main event was not without controversy.

After 25 minutes of tactical striking, Liverpool’s own Darren Till earned the unanimous decision nod over Stephen Thompson in Sunday’s welterweight main event. Two judges, Andy Roberts and Paul Sutherland, scored the fight 49-46 in favor of Till, while judge Mark Collett went with a closer 48-47 tally.
