The Nation's Weather for Sunday, July 28, 2019
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large area of high pressure will continue to influence a
good portion of the Southeast and Middle Atlantic, westward
into the central Plains tomorrow. This will generally lead
to plenty of sunshine and a seasonably warm afternoon. A
lingering front will produce additional showers and
thunderstorms through Florida and westward along the Gulf
coast states through Louisiana and into southeastern Texas.
A cold front will spark showers and thunderstorms through
the Northeast, extending westward into the Great Lakes. Low
pressure along this same boundary will produce heavier
gusty thunderstorms in the northern Plains from southeastern
South Dakota into Minnesota and Wisconsin. High pressure
will also lead to dry conditions across most of the Western
states.
