Manager admits that midfielder’s career ‘stalled’ at Tottenham
22-year-old midfielder Josh Onomah recently completed a switch from North to West London as part of Tottenham’s deal with Fulham for Ryan Sessegnon.
Onomah made a total of 32 appearances for Spurs but never managed to start a Premier League game for the club.
In 2017 he was loaned out to Aston Villa, a loan spell that saw him feature 33 times, scoring four goals in the process.
Despite a consistent run of games for Villa, Onomah was again loaned out the following season, this time fellow Championship side Sheffield Wednesday.
After two consecutive loan spells it seemed apparent that manager Mauricio Pochettino had no long term plans for Onomah.
