Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders comes to Nevada
LAS VEGAS (AP) — Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders brought his long-shot campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination to Las Vegas on Friday, echoing front-runner Hillary Rodham Clinton as he called for an expansion of President Obama's executive actions to shield some immigrants from deportation.
Like Clinton, he said that the response to more gridlock should be presidential action to exempt from deportation parents of U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents and people brought to the U.S. illegally as young children, known by the term DREAMers.
