90 Day Fiancé: Did Brittany Have a Change of Heart About Converting to Islam?
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way viewers are wondering if Brittany Banks had a change of heart about converting to Islam for Yazan and his family.
Did Brittany Banks have a change of heart about converting to Islam on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way? Brittany showed a whole new side of her personality on the July 27 episode, which gave fans a bit of hope for the future of her relationship with Yazan Abo Horira.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way fans are still reeling from Brittany's dismissive behavior about Jordan and its culture. The aspiring rapper is unaware of all the cultural adjustments that are going to be expected of her if she decides to go through with her marriage to fiancé Yazan. Since the new season aired, viewers have found it difficult to stomach the American, even though Yazan has acted poorly as well. Whilst no one is a fan of Yazan's temper, they also are not pleased with Brittany’s total disregard for her fiancé's way of life. Brittany fell in love with the 24-year-old Jordanian mechanical engineer but doesn't want to get behind Yazan’s Muslim culture and strict morals, leaving the couple in quite the conundrum.
Brittany’s web of lies has done her more harm than good in her relationship with Yazan, especially since her untruths caused a huge argument with Yazan’s parents in last week’s episode. But Brittany may have had a change of heart on July 27's all-new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way after a conversation with Yazan’s uncle. TLC viewers watched while Yazan pleaded his case to his uncle, who is evidently the most forward-thinking member of his family. The Jordanian wanted to show off Brittany in a better light and knew if he could gain his uncle’s blessing, they just may have a chance. Surprisingly, Yazan made some solid points. He explained to cameras that he did not want to rush into a marriage with Brittany for her own good and his. The engineer didn't think it was fair when the two had hardly spent more than a month together. Even his uncle agreed with his prognosis
During the conversation, Yazan’s uncle also wanted to discuss Brittany's decision to convert to Islam. He wanted to make sure that Brittany wanted to convert out of her own free will. He explained to his nephew and cameras that, if Brittany wanted to go through with the marriage, she would have to give up her job, fashion style, and a lot more. He urged Yazan to tell Brittany the full truth. For her part, Brittany was also invested in the conversation and didn’t even raise her voice once. She asked if Yazan’s uncle would speak on their behalf, claiming she would try to be more open-minded. Despite these comments, her decision to convert to Islam is still up in the air.
Even though the conversation went well, fans are not hopeful this couple will survive the season. Fans of the TLC show are extremely worried about Brittany's lack of self-awareness and believe this will truly be her downfall.
90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way? airs Mondays at 9 pm EST on TLC.
