#LAKings LA Kings Weekly Prospect Tracker, Week Ending March 20, 2020. (MayorsManor)

It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday, March 20th.
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)

Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects this season, each tracker will feature a select number of them on a rotating basis – largely culled from key performances for the prior week.
Samuel Fagemo, Left/Right Wing (50th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 20 goals, 14 assists, plus-20, 34 PIM in 48 games played
Fagemo was the Reigns most productive skater this week, scoring the opening goal against the Condors with a tip-in for his 20th goal of the season and adding an assist. Against Abbotsford he added two assists to his totals.
Taylor Ward, Right Wing, (FA signing in 2022)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 0 assists, even plus/minus, 2 PIM in 1 games played
The newest member of the Reign made his debut against the Canucks. Ward put up 19 goals and 20 assists in 38 games for the Univ. of Nebraska Omaha this season.
Helge Grans, RH Defenseman (35th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 7 goals, 13 assists, plus-7, 2 PIM in 47 games played
Grans took advantage of the extra ice time he’s been receiving while Spence and Strand are absent with a give-and-go powerplay goal.
Matt Villalta, Goalie (72nd overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.75 GAA, .910 SV % in 33 games played
Villalta was the starting man against the Canucks, stopping 28 of 31 shots he faced in the 4-2 loss.
ECHL
Jacob Ingham, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Goalie (175th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario Reign: 1.85 GAA, .931 SV %, 1 assist in 1 game played
ECHL-Greenville: 2.71 GAA, .909 SV % in 16 games played
Ingham continues to improve his stats after posting a .962 SV % for a 2-1 win in his lone start this week.
Lukas Parik, Goalie (87th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario: 3.50 GAA, .893 SV % in 4 games played
ECHL-Rapid City: 2.56 GAA, .920 SV % in 26 games played
Parik led the Rush to back-to-back wins over the Kansas City Mavericks, stopping 34 of 38 shots in the first game and then stopping 31 of 33 attempts in his second match.
CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY

OHL
Brandt Clarke, Barrie Colts, RH Defenseman (8th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 10 goals, 44 assists, plus-21, 25 PIM in 47 games played
Clarke was assessed an eight-game suspension for last week’s hit.
Martin Chromiak, Kingston Frontenacs, Left Wing (128th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 30 goals, 36 assists, plus-12, 8 PIM in 48 games played
Chromiak bolstered his reputation as a goal-scorer this week as he reached the 30-goal mark with
four goals in three games, including a game winner. He also added an assist this week.
Francesco Pinelli, Kitchener Rangers, Center (42nd overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 19 goals, 33 assists, plus-8, 25 PIM in 44 games played
The Rangers exploded for a three-game winning streak where Pinelli made huge contributions, adding two goals and four assists.
BCHL
Braden Doyle, Penticton Vees, LH Defenseman (157th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats
BCHL-Penticton: 3 goals, 23 assists, 6 PIM in 24 games played
NCAA-Boston Univ.: 0 goals, 1 assist, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 8 games played
Doyle had a quiet week in the BCHL, putting up one assist.
COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)

Alex Laferriere, Harvard Univ., Right Wing (83rd overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 14 goals, 15 assists, plus-12, 12 PIM in 34 games played
Harvard stormed past Clarkson Univ. with a 5-3 win on their way to the ECAC Championships where they would emerge victorious with a 3-2 OT defeat of Quinnipiac Univ. They will begin their quest to the Frozen Four against No.1 ranked Minnesota St. Mankato.
Andre Lee, UMass-Lowell, LW/C (188th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 16 goals, 12 assists, plus-15, 50 PIM in 33 games played
Lee and the Riverhawks were eliminated in the Hockey East semifinals with a 3-1 loss to the Univ. of Massachusetts. They will begin their road to the NCAA Frozen Four against No.3 ranked Denver Univ.
Brock Faber, Univ. of Minnesota, RH Defenseman (45th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 11 assists, plus-10, 12 PIM in 29 games played
The Gophers comeback against Michigan Univ. came too little too late as they fell 4-3 in the Big Ten Championships. Their march to the Frozen Four begins on Friday, March 25th against UMass.
Ben Meehan, UMass-Lowell, LH Defenseman (140th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 9 assists, plus-8, 50 PIM in 32 games played
Meehan and the Riverhawks will play again on Thursday, March 24.
David Hrenak, St. Cloud State, Goalie (144th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.25 GAA, .914 SV % in 31 games played
Hrenak has recovered from his illness and is expected to be between the pipes against Quinnipiac Univ., his first obstacle in his final chance to win the Frozen Four tournament.
VARIOUS EUROPEAN LEAGUES

Samuel Helenius, LIIGA-JYP, Center (59th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats
LIIGA-JYP: 2 goals, 6 assists, minus-8, 76 PIM in 47 games played
SM-Sarja-JYP U20: 0 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 0 PIM in 1 game played
Helenius and crew took down JYP 3-2 in their first game of the week, where he picked up a primary assist. Helenius is ranked sixth in the league for most penalty minutes. JYP is eliminated from playoff contention and will try to play spoilers against KalPa.
Aatu Jämsen, Finland, Right Wing (190th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats
LIIGA-Pelicans: 1 goals, 5 assists, minus-2, 6 PIM in 34 games played
Mestis-Peliitat: 4 goals, 4 assists, plus-3, 4 PIM in 7 games played
SM-Sarja-Pelicans U20: 6 goals, 12 assists, plus-15, 6 PIM in 11 games played
Jamsen started his week with the U20 team in the SM-Sarja, where he added a goal and an assist in his first game back. He returned to LIIGA to skate in two games, a win and a loss. The Pelicans hold the last playoff spot and have one game left in the regular season, a must-win as KalPa is only two points out and has the better goal differential.
Kasper Simontaival, LIIGA-KalPa, Center (66th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 7 goals, 6 assists, minus-2, 14 PIM in 35 games played
KalPa dropped all three of their games this week, hindering their chances at playoff contention. Their final game is a must-win in order to qualify for the playoffs. Even so, the Pelicans must loose their final game in order for KalPa to Qualify. Simontaival played in only two of this week’s three games.
Johan Södergran, DEL-Eisbaren Berlin, Right Wing (165th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 1 goals, 2 assists, minus-1, 2 PIM in 5 games played
Sodergran added a goal and an assist this week in three games played.
Kim Nousiainen, LIIGA-KalPa, LH Defenseman (119th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 4 goals, 9 assists, minus-3, 22 PIM in 34 games played
Nousiainen added an assist this week, a knocking the puck loose in a board-battle in his own end to spring an offensive rush.
Kirill Kirsanov, KHL-SKA St. Petersburg, LH Defenseman (84th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats
VHL-SKA-Neva: 1 goal, 2 assists, plus-4, 0 PIM in 3 games played
Playoffs: 2 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 5 PIM in 11 games played
KHL-SKA: 0 goals, 4 assists, plus-6, 4 PIM in 24 games played
MHL-SKA 1946: 1 goal, 2 assists, plus-3, 2 PIM in 3 games played
SKA-Neva won four straight against Toros to advance to the conference finals. Kirsanov had one goal, a plus-4, and averages 17:59 in TOI for the series.
Juho Markkanen, Switzerland, Goalie (112th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats
National League-Lugano: 4.25 GAA, .922 SV % in 3 games played
Playoffs: 0 games played
SL-Ticino Rockets: 3.96 GAA, .869 GAA in 2 game played
Elit-Lugano U20: 1.00 GAA in 1 game played
LIIGA-SaiPa: 3.27 GAA, .873 SV % in 15 games played
SM-Sarja-SaiPa U20: 5.67 GAA, .790 SV % in 3 games played
Markkanen and Lugano kicked off their post-season with two wins over Servette. He has not played yet.
