Hilary Mantel's longtime literary agent, Bill Hamilton confirmed that she died aged 70 on September 22, as a result of a stroke. The celebrated author suffered from endometriosis since her twenties and fought hard throughout her life. Mantel was a two-time Booker Prize awardee for her novels “Wolf Hall” and “Bring Up the Bodies.”
