My evil ex made my life a living hell – she lied to cops that I wanted to kill her & had me arrested in front of my kids
AN ex-husband says his life was made a living hell after his former wife lied to police that he wanted to kill her and got him arrested in front of their terrified kids.
Twisted Katherine Harvey told cops her ex wanted to “blow her brains out” and falsely claimed he was a danger to children.
In a horrific campaign of abuse that lasted “10 or 12 years” her former soldier ex was arrested eight times and had his life torn apart.
But the “obsessed” liar has now been caged for two years and four months for her “relentless” abuse of the 32-year-old.
Despite the sentence and an indefinite restraining order, the dad told HullLive the revelations were just “the very tip of the iceberg”.
And he is already preparing for the “backlash” when Harvey is out.

The shell shocked dad added: “I have spent a minimum of 60 hours in custody. The sentence was very lenient.
“She is a vexatious litigant, that’s what she is. I am glad that she has been put away. It’s peace for 13 months.”
During the court hearing, David Hall, prosecuting, said Harvey made a false and serious complaint against her ex before making a string of malicious complaints to social services.
And she made a 999 telephone call to police on July 9, 2020 claiming her ex said: “I am going to kill you. I am going to blow your brains out.”

The liar then made a false five-page statement to cops about supposed domestic abuse from him in relation to firearms.
And she even pretended she had a non-molestation order against her ex before he was arrested at home in front of three young kids and his mother-in-law.
Hull Crown Court heard the “particularly traumatic” cuffing left the kids “hysterical” and a two-year-old was left “speechless” for days.
The ex – who said his ordeal was like an “illness” – was taken into custody for 15 hours and it was six weeks until he was informed no further action would be taken.
Harvey later called social services from March 15 last year making false allegations about her ex-husband assaulting his new wife.
The former soldier was married to Harvey – who made a good living flogging imported riding equipment from the Middle East – in 2011 but they split up in 2013.
They had a son together and he shares three other kids with his new wife, while Harvey has a daughter by another partner.
The police investigations into the saga took a “substantial amount of time” and 31 statements were taken in total.
Harvey was arrested on November 16, 2020 and again on April 7 last year but denied the offences.
David Godfrey, mitigating, said: “There’s no beating about the bush. This is serious offending and she acknowledges the same.”
Judge Sophie McKone told Harvey: “For almost a year, you made the lives of your former partner and his wife a living hell.

“You became obsessed with it. You became determined to ensure that he suffered.”
Harvey, 33, of Martin Street, Beverley, admitted perverting the course of justice and two offences of breaching a non-molestation order.
