Priyanka Chopra Reveals She Froze Her Eggs In Her 30s
Priyanka Chopra is opening up about the reason why she decided to freeze her eggs in her early 30s.
The 40-year-old Quantico actress says that at the time she “hadn’t settled down with the right person.”
She got married to Nick Jonas in 2018, and they welcomed their daughter Malti, via surrogate in January 2022.

“I did it in my early 30s,” Priyanka told the Armchair Expert podcast. “I could continue on an ambitious warpath that I wanted to achieve. I wanted to get to a certain place in my career. I also hadn’t met the person I wanted to have children with [at 35] or I didn’t see that. That’s anxiety-inducing.”
Priyanka‘s mom is an OB-GYN and recommended she freeze her eggs. Now she passes on the same advice.
“I tell everyone to [freeze their eggs]. My mom had said [to do it as many times as you need] to me, and I did do it for myself as well,” she said.
“I tell all my younger friends the biological clock is real,” Priyanka continued. “It gets so much harder to get pregnant after 35 and to carry to term and all of that, especially with women that have been working all their lives.”
Priyanka recently gushed over her husband Nick, calling him her “greatest champion.”
