He presented alongside former Sky Sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher for 11 years.
Dermot is best known for his recurring role as a presenter on This Morning.
He made his debut on our screens in 1998 and has become one of the nation’s most beloved presenters.
He is well known for his decade long association with the singing show The X Factor.
The TV host has also presented many other TV shows, award shows and charity events throughout his career.
One of his most well-known presenting roles was on Big Brother, which he left in 2008.
Dermot also has a career in Radio, from indie rock station XFM to BBC Radio 2.

Alex Scott is a former professional footballer and is now a TV presenter.
