Indian gov't imposes tax on online gaming
NEW DELHI, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Indian government on Tuesday decided to impose a tax of 28 percent on online gaming, horse racing and casinos, and they will be taxed on full face value, announced Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
In the meantime, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council exempted cancer drugs and satellite launch services provided by private organizations from taxation, the minister said
