REAL MADRID players gave Antonio Rudiger a taste of his own medicine after the defender scored a rare goal.
Rudiger, 30, scored in the 78th minute to give Real Madrid a 1-0 win over Mallorca.
The centre-back headed in the crucial winner from a corner to maintain Real’s lead at the top of the table in their first game back from the winter break.
Rudiger rushed to the corner flag to celebrate his first goal of the season, where he was joined by his team-mates.
And the German, who often slaps his Real pals on the head when they score, received the same treatment after he scored.
Captain Luka Modric slapped Rudiger several times all over his face as Joselu pounded the top of his head with a fist.
Jude Bellingham also got involved as he put his forehead next to Rudiger’s before slapping the top of his head.
But Rudiger saw the funny side and vowed to enact revenge on his team-mates.
He said: “It’s not a problem for me. The next game Brahim, Bellingham or Vini will score and I will get them back.”
Fans found Rudiger’s treatment amusing with one supporter reacting saying: “Nah man they are giving Rudiger his own treatment after his goal. This team ”
