A DIETITIAN has revealed her unorthodox tip for cutting back cravings.
She explained all it required was a whiff or taste of a plant to subdue your hunger.

“Are you looking to cut cravings? One bizarre tip I found is to sniff peppermint,” she said.
“One study showed when people sniffed peppermint every two hours they eat 360 less calories in a day.”
The study evaluated the impact of inhalants on hunger levels over two weeks and determined that the mint was effective in decreasing appetite.
As a result, hunger pangs were curbed in the participants and led to fewer calories consumed and pounds shed.
The content creator had a bottle of peppermint oil handy and for those who preferred, she even offered an alternative in the form of peppermint tea.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts on the tip.
