Leeds United Link With Defender Played Down
Leeds United are not interested in signing Bournemouth star Chris Mepham at the moment, according to Leeds Live.
The Whites are determined to get straight back up in the Premier League after relegation last season and are pushing for a top two finish in the Championship.
However, Leeds’ recent league form has been concerning, as they have secured only seven points from the last six games.
In the ongoing transfer window, Daniel Farke is eyeing recruiting players to strengthen their promotion hopes.
Defence is a position Leeds are looking to add to in the winter window and Bournemouth centre-back Mepham has been linked with a move to Elland Road.
Mepham has been a bit part player under Andoni Iraola, accumulating only 175 minutes so far this season in the league.
However, it has been claimed that, at the moment, Cherries defender Mepham is not of interest to Leeds.
Leeds have let Djed Spence return to Tottenham Hotspur and Luke Ayling is set to join Middlesbrough on loan.
The Whites are also claimed to be keen on Burnley’s Connor Roberts.
