'He's known for throwing things': Trump aide describes how ex-president reacted to verdict
Donald Trump was likely not very happy when he heard a jury found that he owed E. Jean Carroll more than $83 million, according to a former Trump administration official.
Former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham appeared on MSNBC's Alex Witt Reports on Saturday, and was asked about how she thought the ex-president would have responded to the massive damages award.
"How do you think Trump reacted to the jury award behind the scenes?" the host asked. "And what do you think is happening in his immediate orbit right now on this?"

"I actually thought immediately I would not want to be anywhere near him when the verdict came in, or the award came in for E. Jean Carroll," Grisham said. "I can't imagine how angry he was."
Grisham added that she was "light-hearted" about the development, joking that "we should keep the ketchup away from him because he's known for throwing things."
"I would not want to be anywhere near him," she repeated, adding that it was "interesting" how Trump lawyer Alina Habba went immediately to the press.
"I think she was performing one man," Grisham said. She noted that, while Trump will fundraise off of this and pretend to be a victim, "behind the scenes there's no way that he is happy about this."
