I have stomach fat, scars and wonky teeth – some say flaws are ‘nasty’ but I love my imperfections
BEAUTY is in the eye of the beholder, and one influencer says that while some have problems with their flaws, she’s happy to embrace hers.
She showed off all the parts of her body that she was proud of — even though some may disagree.
She squeezed her stomach fat to normalize it[/caption]Grace Tutty (@gracetutty) shared the body-positive video with over 450,000 TikTok followers.
“Every single human has little flaws and that is what makes us unique and beautiful,” she said.
The influencer encouraged her viewers who came to her with complaints about their bodies.
“But I have stomach fat,” said one self-conscious follower.
Grace shared her words of encouragement by revealing that it was nothing to be ashamed of.
“Me too,” she said, showing off her stomach rolls as she sat down.
“But I have skin texture,” complained another.
Grace zoomed in on her face to reveal that she too, had skin texture.
Other common insecurities she heard were about scars and teeth, which she was happy to unpack, revealing that she had a long back scar and “wonky” teeth that were not perfectly straight.
Her video uplifted and brightened up viewers who agreed that human flaws were too commonly stigmatized.
“The teeth one made me less sad because I have wonky teeth,” said one commenter.
“I love your scar, I have the same one from my surgery,” said another.
“My bottom teeth look exactly like yours,” said a third.
