NY receives $303 million to combat homelessness
Continuum of Care Programs in New York received $303 million to provide housing assistance and supportive services to people experiencing homelessness.
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Continuum of Care (CoC) Programs in New York received $303 million to provide housing assistance and supportive services to people experiencing homelessness. This is a part of the nearly $3.16 billion in Continuum of Care Program Awards announced by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on Wednesday.
There are several local counties receiving parts of this award:
- Albany County CoC: $8,115,776
- Schenectady County CoC: $6,187,423
- Rensselaer County CoC: $4,396,532
- Columbia, Greene Counties CoC: $690,461
- Franklin, Essex Counties CoC: $299,322
- Saratoga, Washington, Warren, Hamilton Counties CoC: $2,433,688
- Dutchess County CoC: $1,881,518
- Ulster County CoC: $1,644,085
