Kanye West compares himself to sex offenders and mocks MeToo movement on vile new album
KANYE WEST really can’t help himself when it comes to saying the stupidest things.
The rapper appeared on stage on Thursday night in his home city of Chicago.
It was for a listening event to preview his new album Vultures, which was due out yesterday but didn’t materialise – yet again.
I’ve lost count of how many times he has delayed this album but by the sound of the tracks he played at the event, it certainly won’t be worth the wait because he is up to his old tricks of saying ridiculous things to get attention.
This time, he is comparing himself to sex offenders R Kelly and Bill Cosby on a track called Carnival, where he also mentions Diddy, who was recently accused of sexual assault, which he denied.
Kanye rapped: “Now I’m Ye Kelly bitch, now I’m Bill Cosby bitch, now I’m Puff Daddy Rich, that’s MeToo me rich.”
Later in the track he compares himself to Jesus and also namechecks Taylor Swift in a line that makes absolutely no sense.
At this point, he is just making a rod for his own back each time he opens his mouth.
He wore a mask on stage at the event, but I reckon he should have had a dunce’s hat on instead.

The news means fans of bandmate Jade Thirlwall will have to wait a little longer to hear her stuff.
Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne Pinnock vowed never to release tracks at the same time, to avoid an awkward chart battle.
Perrie previously confirmed her first three singles have already been chosen – and each has a different sound.

IT seems as if Johnny English is about to head out on a fourth espionage adventure.
Rowan Atkinson will once again transform into the inept MI7 spy.
He begins shooting the movie in Malta and the UK in June.
The first film came out in 2003, followed by Johnny English Reborn in 2011 and then Johnny English Strikes Again in 2018, which he suggested would be the final instalment.
Clearly the jokes and massive box office profits are still bringing a large smile to Rowan’s face.
Lila grabs the limelight
THE (big) apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for Kate Moss’ daughter Lila.

Tom a smash at Spud gig
TOM WALKER has been serving up brilliant tunes AND spuds.
After dropping his new tune Head Underwater on Friday last week, the singer was selling baked potatoes.
Tom put in his kitchen shift with Spudman, who has become an internet hit by livestreaming his lunch service in Tamworth, Staffs.
He is a huge fan of Tom and persuaded him to pay a visit and perform for punters.
Tom’s second album I Am will come out in May, five years after his chart-topping debut.
So he has plenty of reasons to feel chipper.
