Chilly night tonight, warming trend for Easter weekend
An upper-level disturbance is passing overhead today, which has led to an increase in cloud cover. A shower or two could be possible through the next few hours, but any rain will be very light. Clouds are expected to clear out later tonight with temperatures falling rapidly. By morning, temperatures could reach the mid-upper 40s!
Another "cooler" day is expected on Thursday, with temperatures climbing into the upper 60s to lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will begin to switch from northeast to southeast, which will trigger a warming trend later in the week, although Friday morning is still expected to be chilly with readings in the upper 40s.
The weekend looks fantastic with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s and mostly sunny skies. The great weather will continue until next Tuesday when our next front approaches the area. This front will be responsible for our next rain chance, followed by another cool down for the mid-parts of next week!
