Man shares his six-step method to get the perfect lawn in time for summer as people beg him to share his secrets
AN AVID gardener has shared the six-step process to getting the perfect lawn.
Roz Weston, from the US, has been begged by hundreds of people to share his secrets to the perfect grass and he didn’t disappoint.
“WANT THIS LAWN? Five Week Lawn Renovation in four and a half minutes. I get this question all the time. Like ALL the time,” he revealed.
The six step process isn’t for the faint-hearted though and will take a lot of dedication by the looks of it.

He showed how he managed to transform his thinner lawn over the course of five weeks.
The first thing you need to do is mow your lawn and cut it really short down to the ground but the gardening fan explains not to “worry, your grass is going to be fine, it loves this”.
Then you need to aerate your lawn – essentially punching holes in it to improve drainage and its root systems.
The gardening whizz does this using an aerator machien – but for normal sized lawns you can use a simple garden fork to do the job.
Remove any soil left on top befor eheading onto the next step.
You then need to cover the whole lawn in sand before carefully working it into the grass and the holes you’ve punched using a rake.
“You want the grass to stand up through the sand, so keep working it in,” Roz explained, showing that by the end of this process, his grass is visible again through the sand.
After being smothered in sand – your grass will be in dire need of a drink so make sure you give it a good watering.
Once it is hydrated – it’s time to add some more grass seeds to encourage new growth.
Next add a layer of peat moss which will help the grass retain moisture so it doesn’t dry out and die.
Roz then gives his lawn another really good watering, before putting getting on with the last step.
He put down a layer of fertiliser, and then you just need to finally sit back, relax and let the lawn renovation work its magic, “It’s a lot of work, but it’s so worth it,
The clip posted to his TikTok account @rozweston has since gone viral with over 2million likes.
