LJLA FELLOWS COMPLETE FOUR-DAY TRAINING FACILITATED BY LAGOS BUSINESS SCHOOL
As part of efforts to strengthen their leadership proficiency and understand the intricacies of economic management in the public sector, Fellows of the Lateef Jakande Leadership Academy (LJLA) recently completed a four-day executive course facilitated by top Academia from the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University.
The four-day curriculum featured the complexities of governmental budgetary processes, economic policy formulation and a robust toolkit of indicators and analytical methodologies, where Fellows honed their skills in forecasting economic trajectories with precision.
A pivotal aspect of the programme was the exploration of the McKinsey 7S Framework, a strategic management paradigm designed to evaluate organisational efficiency, thereby arming Fellows with insights into assessing the alignment of strategy, structure, systems, skills, style, staff, and shared values within their respective institutions.
Additionally, it is also expected to lay the groundwork for strategic adaptability and sustainable progress for the academy fellows.
The Executive Secretary of LJLA, Mrs. Ayisat Agbaje-Okunade emphasised the importance of the Four-day Executive Course as a means to equip Fellows with the skills and mindset necessary to effect positive change in their respective fields, by embracing the principles that promote economic prosperity.
“The Fellows of the Academy have now been properly trained by Lagos Business School to foster economic prosperity, as they return to their roles within the public sector”, she added.
