I found the ultimate Lidl middle aisle bargain – they’re so popular staff are hiding them away but it saves you £50
ABOUT eight years ago, the Polaroid camera had a popularity resurgence – particularly in the form of the Fujifilm Instax.
Every It Girl was snapping Polaroid pictures on the bubble-like colourful cameras, including Kendall Jenner, the Hadid sisters and Hailey Bieber (then Baldwin).
Lidl is selling a gadget loved by supermodels for just £30[/caption]But with prices bordering on triple digits for one camera, plus the extra price of the Polaroid films on top, not everyone is keen to splurge.
Luckily, we don’t have to anymore.
That’s because Lidl is flogging Fujifilm Instax cameras for just £30 – and the price includes 10 polaroid films.
The Instax Mini 11 Instant Camera costs £79.99 to buy full-price, with some colourways currently on sale for £69.99.
But even then, it’s cheaper to pick up one of the gadgets in Lidl.
One shopper took to TikTok to alert other people to the bargain, sparking a frenzy as women rushed to their local budget supermarket.
“Ask the shop assistant if they have them as they told me they weren’t keeping them on shelves,” Ellie Cook said.
“It comes with 10 pieces of film too.
“Isn’t she gorgeous? Run, don’t walk.”
People were quick to ask for further guidance in the comments after sprinting to their local Lidl and not being able to find one of the cameras.
“Someone commented earlier saying there were three left, so definitely go early tomorrow,” Ellie advised.
The content creator picked the camera up in Lidl’s Stanningley, West Yorkshire store, but they’re available across the country.
“The Instax Mini 11 is a stylish, super-compact, easy-to-use instant camera that fits seamlessly into your everyday life,” a blurb on the product reads.
“The Mini 11 includes a built-in selfie lens.
“This cleverly hidden pop-out lens will appear when pulled.
“Simply hold the Instax Mini 11 at arms length, practise your pose in the selfie mirror and snap away.
“When it comes to the automatic exposure, the Mini 11 sorts it all out for you.
“It calculates the brightness of your environment and automatically adjusts the shutter speed accordingly.”
