Emirates will return to Edinburgh this year as it resumes its service between the capital and Dubai. The eagerly awaited return of daily flights between Edinburgh and Dubai will see the service restart on November 4, 2024, on an A350 aircraft. Flights will have 32 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 259 economy class seats.
The service has been temporarily suspended since Covid and its resumption demonstrates the continued recovery in aviation and the confidence in Edinburgh Airport, which expects to welcome a record 15 million passengers this year.
The renewed service, operated by leading international carrier Emirates, will provide passengers with excellent connectivity through the vast Emirates network.

Pegasus spreads its wings at Edinburgh Airport
Also Pegasus Airlines spreads its wings at Edinburgh Airport. Pegasus Airlines will operate flights between Scotland and Türkiye from the 27th of June, flying on Thursdays and Sundays on A320neo/A321neo aircraft. The service will be year-round. The service will connect Edinburgh Airport and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (SAW) for the first time and enhances Edinburgh’s connections to Türkiye, while the airline’s own internal connectivity and vast Middle East network will also benefit passengers.
