Five years ago, legendary Bible teacher Beth Moore made national headlines when she left the Southern Baptist Convention, the denomination that had been her whole life. She found a new church home among the Anglicans, rebuilt her ministry, and kept teaching the Bible to women. Now she’s about to wind down Living Proof Ministries, the nonprofit she led for three decades. She talked about the journey, her faith, and why she still loves teaching the Bible. “I’m getting closer and closer to the day that I’ll see his face,” Moore said, referring to Jesus. “What are we going to do? Take our big old egos with us?”
