Former minister Alamgir Alam walked out of Birsa Munda Central Jail after the Supreme Court granted him bail. The bail was granted in a money laundering case linked to an alleged tender scam. Alam was released after fulfilling bail conditions set by the special PMLA court. He stated he was fixed in a false case due to political vendetta.
