West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has initiated a statewide Human Papillomavirus vaccination campaign. This program targets approximately 7.65 lakh adolescent girls aged 14 years. The initiative aims to protect them against cervical cancer. Girls turning 15 will receive the Gardasil-4 vaccine free of cost. Vaccination sessions will be held at 881 government health facilities across the state.
