Stones were allegedly thrown at a mosque in Bhatkal during a Ganesh idol immersion procession. Several mosque window panes were damaged by the unidentified persons during the incident. Additional police were deployed to the area to restore and maintain law and order. A case has been registered, and some individuals were taken for questioning by authorities. The situation has since returned to normalcy after police intervention and appeals for peace.
