“What a bride!” Kazakh woman holds a sparring match at her Kyz Uzatu

The footage of the unconventional performance quickly went viral on social media, racking up views and comments. Users noted that they had never seen such a format at a kyz uzatu before.

The young woman is 22-year-old Aida Zholdasova. She is a two-time boxing champion of Kazakhstan and a winner of international competitions. Aida has been boxing since she was 13.
The event itself took place in early September. According to the bride, the host organized an impromptu sparring session between her and her coach during the celebration.
"The party started well, and the host didn't know I was a boxer. When he found out, he suggested that my coach and I do some pad work," Aida said.
The boxer demonstrated her athletic skills right at the celebration, drawing thunderous applause from the guests.
Aida tries to ignore mixed comments regarding why the sparring was held at a wedding and who she was trying to impress. Ultimately, her loved ones are proud of her achievements.
"My relatives have always been proud. My husband's family also knows that I box," Aida Zholdasova noted.
