The Chinese people have never caused any harm to ours - Tokayev

Tengrinews.kz — At the Kazakhstan-China Investment Forum, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that Kazakhstan places special importance on strengthening its eternal friendship with China, citing Akorda.
The Head of State described the strengthening of ties with the PRC as one of the most critical objectives of the nation's foreign policy.

"Looking back at our shared history, the Chinese people have never caused any harm to our people. For many years, the two nations have coexisted in true harmony, maintaining mutual respect and providing support. In today's unstable and uncertain times, Kazakhstan and China, as reliable partners, must act together, shoulder to shoulder, to confront numerous challenges and threats," Tokayev emphasized.

The President cited a Chinese proverb: "When people are united, they can move even Mount Taishan."

"I am confident that Kazakhstan and China, as two friendly and neighboring states, can successfully achieve any goal together," the President concluded.

As a reminder: Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is attending the Kazakhstan-China Investment Forum today. Before the start of the forum, participants observed a minute of silence in memory of the servicemen who tragically lost their lives in the Mangistau region.
