Imus, Cavite – Vice President Jejomar C. Binay and his United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) team revisited vote-rich Cavite yesterday and promised to appoint Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla as his Interior and Local Government secretary should he win in the May 9, 2016 elections. Binay’s announcement drew cheers and applause from the crowd during the UNA campaign sortie at the packed San Sebastian College Recoletos de Cavite gym yesterday morning. “I would like to announce that my secretary for Local Government would be Gov. Jonvic,” Binay said to the delight of the crowd. Remulla, 48, was formerly Binay’s political affairs spokesman until he decided to quit to prepare for his re-election.
