Hey, fellow young fashionistas! Do you want to know how to look good and do good at the same time? A bunch of college students like me showed how as they topbilled the Green Fashion Revolution led by the Aboitiz Foundation, where they vied for recognition as the best designers of clothes, accessories, bags, and shoes made from recycled materials—from some 200 kilograms of waste materials from Aboitiz companies, to be exact. This new fashion style is called “ecouture,” or eco-friendly fashion design, inspired by the global movement to protect our environment in order to slow down climate change.
