Salary increase for employees working in government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs) will depend on the Governance Commission for Government-owned and-controlled corporations (GCG). Malacañang stressed this yesterday following President Aquino’s approval of the first tranche of pay increase for government workers under Executive Order No. 201. GOCCs were not included in President Aquino’s EO as the pay of GOCC personnel is governed by the Compensation and Position Classification System (CPCS).
